The Israelites were down to nothing. They had left the lush green land of Egypt headed for the Promised Land of Canaan, but in between the two lay the harsh dry desert, which they hated. They couldn't go back, and they couldn't go forward. What to do?
Like the Israelites, there are times in life when we find ourselves in the harsh dry Wilderness. We can't go back to where we were, and the future seems so uncertain!
The Wilderness can be disorienting, but it can also be the place for God to do some of His deepest work.
It's hot and dry, but also fertile ground for spiritual growth.
Is God up to something in your life right now?
